. Steve Lukather about Genesis in Leipzig Posted by Arend on Saturday, July 07, 2007 12:11:46 PM
On July 4th Genesis played in Leipzig the night before Toto was doing their gig over there.
"Man, what an awesome show!! Full stadium and a great vibe. Sklar was kind enough to make the call to the guys and they sorted us out right away and we got the royal treatment. We got see all of them before the show and they were very cool, and then sat with the lighting director Dave Hill, OUR old L.D. and friend and it was sounding and looking awesome. They played so well and I have been a fan since I was 15 years old and they played a few of MY fave classics from the old catalogue and I was freakin out. Hahaha. Great night and thanks to there staff and THEM and Lee for makin it happen. It was a great way to spend a night off and very inspiring." | |
